Erin Moriarty recently shared how she is no longer “heartbroken” over people trolling her online, following months of fans questioning her appearance and body.
he Boys actress has gained a large fanbase throughout the years, with her Instagram follow account currently being over 2.4 million.
Since her rise to fame, fans and trolls alike have questioned Moriarty’s appearance with many believing the star has had plastic surgery.
Some comments over the years included people stating she had “ruined” her face with others labelling her alleged surgeries as an “addiction.”
This originally led to Moriarty addressing the constant speculation before deactivating her social media accounts altogether.
While addressing the hurtful comments in a lengthy statement, Moriarty expressed how the whole situation was heartbreaking.
“This is something I truly never anticipated writing,” she began in her post.
She continued: “We’re all subject to levels of bullying throughout our lives but I am horrified, and I felt that I deserved to take a second to address these things.”
She added how she was “horrified by the reaction, the reductive assumptions, and the aforementioned video that is a primary example of such harassment.”
“It’s broken my heart.”
“You’ve broken my heart.”
Sometime later, Moriarty reactivated her social media accounts and began to post again, this time around limiting the ability for people to comment.
